Cassidy Tailor, titled Flash Cut, was a magical girl who was a member of Team Flash. She was often seen with Vedika and was a member of the Magical Girl Power Training Club.
She was quite cheerful and friendly.
Biography[]
Prior to receiving the Dream, Cassidy idolized magical girls, especially Heartful Punch, and looked down at what the saw as the superficial behavior of her peers. After she got her powers, she continued to obsess over HP, joining her MGPTC when invited. According to Bud, she never really stopped seeing HP as an idol instead of a friend.
After most of Team Alchemical was killed, she became suspicious of how quickly Undine returned to fighting and jealous of her increasing closeness with HP. During a training session when HP was away, she attacked Undine while they were alone an attempted to force Undine to reveal what she had been hiding. She was stopped by the other members of the club, who berated her as Undine fled. She attempted to justify her action to HP as she returned, but was rebuffed and told to stay away.
Rejected by both her club and her idol, she didn't meet up with her team that night, instead venturing out on her own. While she held her own against several monsters, she eventually ran into the Purple One, who presumably killed her by having a monster destroy both clones simultaneously.
Appearance[]
Cassidy was of average height and had pale skin, orange-brown hair cut in a bob, and dark brown eyes. She wore a lavender headband with a large ribbon on top.
Cassidy's magical girl outfit was an orange and white dress, with a dark orange ribbon around her waist like a belt. Her headband also changed to orange. She carried an over-sized pair of scissors as her weapon.
Abilities[]
Cassidy could use her scissors to cut herself in half, creating two copies of herself; one dark orange, one pale orange. The dark orange copy is right handed, wears a half-scissor pin on her sash (which is tied on her left hip), and wears her hair ribbon shorter on the left side. The light orange copy is a mirror image of the other copy. Both halves carry one blade of the scissors, which they wield as a sword in combat.
Both clones are fairly frail; Undine destroyed one simply by knocking it against the wall. When either clone is destroyed, the other clone "takes over", and she reforms fully at its location, though this costs some magic. During combat, Cassidy is shown quickly alternating between split and whole forms, and splitting herself to escape restraints.

- 'Cassidy' means clever. According to a Patreon post, this will have significance in the story.
- Cassidy's status is currently unknown, though she is believed by Anemone to be deceased, as she can no longer sense her anywhere.
