Chapter 1 is the first chapter of Sleepless Domain, premiering on April 6th, 2015 and running till June 25, 2015. It is so far the only chapter to have no title.
Synopsis[]
The comic begins at 9:55pm on September 2nd, with Alchemical Aether (Tessa) waiting for the rest of Team Alchemical to arrive as the city's intercom announces for normals to take shelter in their homes.
Alchemical Water (Undine) is the next to arrive, apologizing for being late. She's followed by Alchemical Air (Sylvia), who brought a cameraman to get promotional footage.
Alchemical Fire (Sally) shows up and immediately picks a fight with Sylvia, as Undine realizes Alchemical Earth (Gwen) has been around for an indeterminate amount of time.
Team Alchemical transforms and tracks down a group of nearby monsters. Sally and Gwen run ahead to fight some smaller monsters, and the rest of the team show up just as a larger monster, the leader arrives.
Tessa orders the team to execute her plan, which starts with Sally and Sylvia taking out the smaller monsters with a firestorm. Then Gwen and Undine trap the larger monster in a magical plant attack so that Tessa can finish it with a focused blast. Sally complains that the rest of the team never gets to have any finishing shots, to which Tessa replies that she gets to finish off the rest of the monsters because she's the strongest.
As Team Alchemical jokes around after their nightly patrol is over, the chapter ends with an ominous narration by one of the team members. It's unclear if it's Tessa or Undine.

The second interstitial is a detailed look at a poster featuring Alchemical Air promoting registration with the Board of Magical Girls.
