Originally planned to be an important character, "Red" was dropped after the realization that she was too similar to Chandra from Kiwi Blitz and ultimately didn't fit the tone of Sleepless Domain.
She only appears in a wanted poster on a single page but her original intent was to be a sort of magical girl turned master thief.

- Mary Cagle has hinted that the character could be reused in a potential prequel story some day.
- Red was never given a name and was cut when Undine was still "Blue" and Heartful Punch was still "Pink".
- Mary also stated that "some of her character aspects were worked into other [characters]". This could include Zoe, whose role in the story is said to have been combined with a cut character.
