"When you're a magical girl, they want to get all up in your business, y'know?"
Rue Bahia is an unregistered magical girl and conspiracy theorist. In order to protect her privacy from the Magical Girl Support Institute and stay "off the grid," Rue chooses to attend a public school rather than Future's Promise. She is in Miss Cable's class with Tessa Quinn.
She is quite friendly and has a casual manner.
Appearance[]
Rue is a black girl of average height. She has dark skin and dark green hair that puffs out in an afro. She wears loose green sweaters in all of her appearances with spaghetti straps showing underneath.
Rue's magical girl outfit is a black coat with pockets, worn over a green shirt and a green plaid skirt. She also wears a large black witch's hat, and a black scarf decorated with green fangs. A number of bottles of green liquid are strapped to the inside of her coat.
Abilities[]
Rue can pull magical potions filled with green liquid out of her coat pockets. She can create bombs to throw at monsters, as well as healing potions for her injuries.
Creating a potion appears to cost magic, with healing potions being particularly draining.
Trivia[]
- Rue may speak with a British accent ("teddy bear lookin' arse").
- Mary Cagle has admitted Rue's eyes are based off Shigeo Kageyama's, a character from the manga Mob Psycho 100.

- Her little brother, Dill, is the most powerful character in the comic.
